About
QuestHaul is an independent magazine about video games first — and about the anime, manga and series that share their worlds. Gaming news, honest reviews, guides and hardware comparisons — plus the best of anime, manga and series. A brighter corner of pop culture.
Who we are
A small team of players, readers and watchers who would rather be right than first.
How we report news
Every news story names its source — the publisher's announcement, the studio's post, the platform holder's press release — and shows when it was published and last updated. We do not publish rumours as facts. Release dates appear only once they are officially confirmed; until then a game is listed as “TBA”.
How we review
We score games, series and manga only after we have actually played, watched or read them. Each review says which platform, edition or volumes it is based on, lists the good and the bad, and ends with a verdict and a score out of 10. Nobody can buy a score.
How we use AI
We use AI tools to help draft and research, never to replace the editor: drafts are fact-checked against their sources and reviewed by a person before publishing, and AI never writes a review score. Illustrations generated with AI carry a visible “AI illustration” label so they are never mistaken for official artwork or screenshots. Official images belong to their owners and are credited.
How we make money
Some links may be affiliate links: if you buy something through them we may earn a commission, at no extra cost to you. We also run clearly labelled sponsored blocks and display advertising. None of it changes what we recommend.
